Canvas GFX launches remote learning subscription program for education

Canvas GFX, a venerable document creation program for business-to-business applications, has announced the launch of Canvas Unlimited for Universities. Like the name says, it is an unlimited license meaning that participants have access to the full Canvas portfolio, which includes Canvas X, Canvas X3, Canvas X GEO, and Canvas X Draw for macOS. Canvas GFX is making it available to universities for a low-cost annual subscription.

Canvas software is already being used at Baylor University, Boston College, Harvard, and Yale in the US and also internationally. While we’re on the topic of customers, Canvas is also being used by 3M, Boeing, Chevron, Honeywell, General Dynamics, NASA, United Airlines, and Raytheon to some of the companies that have been working with Canvas GFX.

Like so many companies, Canvas GFX has started the program in response to the coronavirus as a way to offer support to universities and faculty who are working remotely, but it’s also a chance for Canvas to relaunch itself, which the company has been doing over 2020.

Myagi: A knowledge supply chain

With the complexity of the cycling industry and the technical nature of the products within it, there is a need for more measurable ways to share knowledge to drive sales. Based in San Francisco but with an EMEA HQ in Birmingham, Myagi is a “knowledge supply chain” platform that connects brands, distributors and retailers, designed to allow them to collaborate, communicate and educate.

It aims to provide sellers with the right intel at the right time to create good customer experiences and improve sell-through. “Simon Turner is our founder,” Richard Smith, EMEA regional director at Myagi explains. “He was a distributor of products for several brands, and one of the responsibilities he had was training store staff. The consistent problem that he had within this business was selling a technical product or indeed a product that was an add on sale – something that people didn’t necessarily come into the store looking for.

With a new director on board, the team at Keyframe Audio has launched a new version of its website, and they added over 50.000 new songs. But the most exciting part for filmmakers is that they are developing a unique system that automatically whitelists and clears the right in YouTube’s Content ID system when you use tracks from Keyframe Audio. Let’s take a closer look at this new version of the site.

If the name Keyframe Audio sounds familiar to you, you’re right: in January 2019, we already talked about the launch of the platform. Since the Beta version, the team developed dramatically and continues to expand daily. An update to our original article was needed to show you what’s new.

New Director and New Keyframe Audio Website

First of all, Keyframe Audio’s new director is Jeremiah Benzion. If you don’t know who Jeremiah is, he was previously the Licensing and Artist Director at Arlist.io, another music licensing platform. Also, Keyframe Audio is now part of HAAWK, which is a big player in the “YouTube Content ID and Facebook/Instagram Rights Manager” game.
