Janrain Hires Darryl Nicholson as VP of Engineering, Promotes Mayur Upadhyaya to VP of Customer Experience

Janrain, the global leader in Customer Identity Management solutions, today announced that Darryl Nicholson has joined the company as vice president of engineering and Mayur Upadhyaya was promoted to vice president of customer experience.

Nicholson is a seasoned technologist with more than two decades of experience. Prior to Janrain, Nicholson was vice president of IT at Vesta Corporation, a global leader in the field of card-not-present (CNP) transactions, and managed a $5.5 billion PCI payments operation. He ran Vesta’s Global Production Operations environment, Information Security and Corporate IT Services and was part of the executive team responsible for increasing revenue 10X. Nicholson, based in Portland, OR, will oversee Janrain Development and Operations and report directly to CEO Larry Drebes.
