Digbi Health’s precision digital care program for Mental Health Achieves Key Clinical Outcomes

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – May 31, 2021 – Digbi Health today announced topline results from a real-world study of 275 people evaluating Digbi Health’s efficacy in reducing mental health severity among people struggling with weight and other inflammatory chronic conditions.

275 Digbi Health members participated in the real-world study. At the beginning of the program, 41 percent reported suffering from mental health issues. After participating in the program and losing 5 percent of their body weight, members reported improvements with anxiety by 33 percent, depression, and brain fog or memory challenges by 35 percent. “I now have clarity, and earlier I would have a foggy brain and couldn’t think or concentrate,” said member Kristie E.

“Anxiety and depression are highly associated with other whisper illnesses – digestive, skin, and obesity,” said Ranjan Sinha, Founder, and CEO of Digbi Health. “Mental health is also intrinsically linked to gut health. The human gut microbiome is responsible for the synthesis and metabolism of critical neurotransmitters and hormones, implicating gut health in the so-called “gut-brain axis.”  Digbi targets some of the root causes of anxiety and depression by improving gut health and supporting it with cognitive behavior therapy. Mental Health is a whisper illness, and we are determined to ensure our members have the tools to be their happiest selves,” he said.

Drone Threats in the Homeland: Lifting the Cloud

New Counter -UAS technology from White Fox could help lift the cloud of criminal and terrorist drone threats that hovers over the U.S. and the entire global commercial drone industry.

Perception often aligns with reality. For the drone industry, turning the tide of public perception remains a challenge. Safety, privacy, and security top the list of drone-related concerns for the average citizen. Rightfully so. Careless, clueless, and criminal operators operate their drones in a manner that impacts all of these areas, from taking surreptitious pictures to damaging property to the most extreme outcome, causing death.

The first step to address potential drone threats, and allay fears, is detection. Until now, no one product could seamlessly provide comprehensive awareness for those charged to protect us in the homeland. The global leader in airspace security, WhiteFox Defense Technologies, announces STRATUS, their real-time, cloud-based solution – providing instant detection, notifications, and historical reporting on a computer or mobile device. STRATUS is a game-changer that will ultimately lift the entire drone industry.

Geisinger and Noteworth launch virtual care platform to help control chronic diseases

Geisinger has announced the launch of ConnectedCare365, a virtual care delivery platform for remote patient monitoring, artificial intelligence and data analysis tools.

The new virtual care delivery system is aimed at tracking the health of patients with chronic diseases to improve outcomes.

Clinicians will also be able to triage and prioritize care for high-risk patients because of the system's ability to analyze patient-generated data and relevant information from the electronic health record. Geisinger care teams can use the platform to transition patient care after discharge from the hospital.

Patients using ConnectedCare365 will be able to monitor their weight, blood pressure, glucose, and other metrics using a smartphone app. The platform's direct messaging will allow patients to communicate with care teams.

Geisinger is offering ConnectedCare365 in partnership with digital health startup Noteworth. The collaboration includes plans to address other key clinical initiatives for diabetes, heart failure, history of stroke risk and post-stroke care, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, case management, behavioral health, COVID-19, and substance use disorders.
